BuffsEdit

Buffs are helpful status bonuses that affect various stats and/or abilities. Buffs can be applied either one's self or an ally, but can also be stolen by certain abilities. However, Elite Affixes and Passive bonuses are not technically buffs, and thus cannot be stolen. Most stats wear-off after awhile, but some stack multiple times, others are permanent, and a few are both.

This is a list of buff types in the game, not including buffs that unique to specific heroes:

Haste

Attacks and moves faster. Hasters, Strafing Drakons Orion

Necro Buff

Invisibility

Cannot be seen or tracked. Will break invisibility if damaged or attacks. Stealth Slayers, Pterodynes, Haunt Striders Skar

Bio Buff

Spiky

Damage from melee attacks is deflected back at the attacker in the form of physical damage. Thorn Tripeds Spiky Catalysts

Plasma Buff

Fire Thorns

Damage from melee attacks is deflected back at the attacker in the form of energy damage. Underminds Zrin (pet)

Cyber Buff

Absorption Shield

A periodically refreshing shield that absorbs an amount of incoming damage. Dynospheres Shielded Elites and Captains

Bio Buff

Persistence

Will be resurrected if killed, either once or periodically. Pouncing Stalkers, Hypno Mantises

Cyber Buff

Invulnerability Shield

Immune to damage and debuffs for a time. Invincitrons Omni Shield Cyber variant ability.

Raytheoid Buff

2x Energy Damage

Deals double energy damage. Raytheoids


DebuffsEdit

Debuffs are harmful statuses to whoever receives them. Most wear-off after awhile, but some stack multiple times, others are permanent, and a few are both.

Diseased

Disease

Deals damage periodically over its duration, as well as spreads to nearby foes. (DoT) Darkspore Infectors, Pathogenic Vegavores, Orcus Virulent Vines Bio variant ability, Contagion Pustules
Rooted

Root

Prevents further movement for a time, but allows attacking and direction change. (Snare) Dread Roots, Mending Tanglids Virulent Vines Bio variant ability
Slept

Sleep

Cannot move or use abilities. (Disable) Draining Simians (self), Quadrakillers (self), Hypno Mantises Tork
Dazed

Daze

Cursed

Curse

Life Drain Aura

Life is being drained from nearby enemies and given to someone else. (DoT) Shade Drifters, Haunt Striders? Jinx?
Frightened

Fear (Terror)

Erratically runs around with no control of direction or use of abilities. (Disable) Pterodynes, Arachno Strikers, Nashira Revenant, Wraith, (Skar) Nightmare Plants, Nightmare Vines
Burned

Burn

Deals damage periodically over its duration. (DoT) Pyrachnids, Terrorsaurs, Molten Crawlers, Underminds, Blazers Zrin, Krel, (Char) Fuel Canisters, Factory Pipes, Waste Pools
Nova Burn

Nova Burn

Deals heavy damage periodically over its duration. Stacks multiple times, and is unique to Novas. (DoT) Nova N/A
